honesty

satu pujian daripada seorang kanak-kanak yang takutkan dentist adalah suatu kelegaan yang terbesar. that's the best thing about paediatric dentistry. its hard treating the kids but once they like you, ianya macam satu kemenangan. entah, susah nak describe. rasa sangat satisfied.

my patient today, a girl, 10 yrs old amat benci dentist dan segala yang berkaitannya termasuk kliniknya. "i hate this place. this place is creepy" kata pesakit saya itu.

saya amik x-ray madeleine. she hates x-ray so much. but i have to take it. no choice. lepas mengomel dan bertanya macam-macam dan setelah x-raynya di ambil, dia keluar bilik x-ray tu sambil saya mengemas-ngemas bilik x-ray.

"you are a good dentist." Madeleine berpatah balik ke bilik x-ray dan berkata macam tu kat saya sambil tersenyum! so sweet of her~~saya masa tu rasa macam cair hati terus! rasa macam ada seorang anak pulak tiba2 (apakah???)

kemudian saya bincang2 treatment plan dengan madeleine dan ibunya.

"i dont want to come again to this place. its creepy!" seperti biasa dia yang sangat nervous mengutarakan kebenciannya.

"but you have too unfortunately. you have a treatment to be completed. only one treatment." saya pujuk dia.

"are you still going to treat me after this? the treatment you mentioned just now, are you the one who's going to do it?"

"of course, i'll be the one." i said that to her and smiled. she smiled.

"i like that! that's a relief!" she said. oh no, hati saya sekali lagi cair! children being honest adalah sangat mengujakan. sekian terima kasih.
