my first posting

Assalamualaikum my lovely readers! Mesti korang tertanya-tanyakan apa perkembangan terbaru saya sejak balik dari NZ ni *sila muntah hijau kebiruan*

Alhamdulillah setelah hampir 4 bulan menunggu kerja daripada kerajaan, akhirnya kini saya bergelar penjawat awam yang terikat dengan akta-akta serta mempunyai banyak jenis cuti dan banyak jenis elaun juga. sila minta duit raya dengan saya nanti only if u manage to grab my attention *sila muntah kuning kehijauan pula*

Ok sekarang saya akan terangkan how did i get here, as pegawai pergigian. teknikal sikitlah ye. please bear with me. if this is not related to you, please move to another blogger in your list-to-read :)

1. Setelah pulang dari luar negara, jika anda pelajar tajaan JPA, anda dikehendaki report kepulangan anda kepada JPA. boleh dilakukan secara online mahupun pergi sahaja melawat mereka di pejabat mereka di Putrajaya. Ada form yang kena isi.
2. Call Malaysian Dental Coucil (MDC) to book an appointment for registration. Untuk register dengan council tersebut memang kena buat appointment sebab nanti akan diberi briefing jugak. Selepas register, anda akan diberi nombor pendaftaran.
3. Print out borang 'Permohonan Jawatan' from website Suruhanjaya Penjawat Awam (SPA). Then isi. Boleh hantar pos or pergi office mereka kat putrajaya. I did mine online so its easier. I submitted all the documents required online too. Then u have to call them just to make sure they got your application processed. Call jugak untuk tanya dan book tarikh interview. Dont just sit and wait. kalau dalam seminggu dua tak dengar apa-apa, just call them. 
4. Register with Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM/MOH). They need your MDC registration number so you MUST register with MDC first, before KKM. eh..tiba-tiba speaking english pulak. Boleh print out KKM punya Borang Maklumat Diri (download from their website). They require some documents so just bring all of them to KKM  including Borang Maklumat Diri.
5. Then you're done with applications and registration. Next you just have to wait and prepare for the interview. The interview is quite simple. Just chit chatting and they will ask some questions on KKM. But it depends on the interviewer too. I did not get any clinical questions but some of my friends did. Usually the interview will take 10-15 minutes but if you really like to talk, it can goes up to 30 mins to 1 hour, really!
6. After the interview you will get offer letter from SPA. They will also send some forms to be filled in including borang medical checkup. In the offer, they ask us to wait for calling letter from KKM.
7. In my case, after almost 4 months (this depends on the kekosongan jawatan dan tempat), the calling letter from KKM came. asking me to attend Program Transformasi Minda (TPM). it is a new program and it is used to be called 'induction'. It is more or less like induction but just for 5 days minus the exam (mind u we still hv exam but not as complicated as the previous batch. no time allocated for studying also and carries only 20% from the overall module)
8. We got our placement result during the PTM/induction. I heard many are sent to Sabah Sarawak. And I felt so relieved when I got Terengganu. Although its quite faraway from home, I have 2 aunts living in Terengganu and my grandparents live in Kelantan so I can visit them often hopefully. 
9. PTM/induction ends on friday and you are required to start working on the next monday. In my case, Sunday is Monday in Terengganu. My PTM was in Penang. So Friday night i took a flight home. Arrived  midnight. Saturday morning malas-malas kemas barang. still in denial. Afternoon went to neighbour's wedding. 3.30 pm baru start packing. 5.30 pergi airport. 7.45 flight to Terengganu. Penat sungguh rasanya tak cukup rehat, fly sana sini. But you can claim for your journey to PTM and to the place where you're posted. *pheww*
